Frankly, you should consider taking Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering principal on only if you're really interested and passionate about this branch because if the campus placement is the only parameter for you then it would be really difficult for you to get into your dream company as the number of electronics and instrumentation companies visiting the campus for the placement drive vary each and every year. Although the placements are not bad at all being right after computer science branch in BITS-Pilani. You can expect an average placement package of around 17 LPA as the student quality in BITS-Pilani is excellent and each and every company readily wishes to recruit students from this department. The highest placement package offered to the students of the same branch was around 50 LPA for the year 2017.
