The placements vary slightly each year. Talking about manufacturing engineering, the placements in core field were around 47% (average salary 6.5 LPA) while rest of the students got placed in finance, IT and consultancy. More and more CSE students get placed each year, even from non-CSE branches. Average placements for CSE is around 18 LPA. So basically, placements in CS and IT are among the best in the country. Placements are really good and it touches the 100% mark (almost) every year. Internships are a major part of a BITSian's life. Students finish the 4th year with at least 2 internships or sometimes more which gives them the edge to land up with a job when compared to other college students. The course curriculum is very well planned and structured and is available before hand. The books are of international repute. Also, the library portal and the library provides multiple resources to have a deeper knowledge of the course. Faculty members are of the best quality and very helpful.
