Placements in Jadavpur University in chemical engineering department are far more superior to any other college on the same scale. 50% of the total batch of 36 students got placed in core chemical companies and some of them willingly chose to go for financial firms or consulting firms. The placement for the year 2017 has not been over yet and more than 12 students have got placed in PSU, paying then nothing less than a minimum of 8-9 LPA. There are some companies that make rounds during the placement season of the college for the branch of chemical engineering: Deloitte, Oracle, Mu Sigma, ZS Associates, Amec Foster Wheeler, Bechtel India, DCB Bank, Vedanta Limited, Reliance Industries Limited, UOP Honeywell, Haldia Petrochemicals, Emami, Berger Paints Ltd., ITC and PSPD. Of all the same category colleges, the training and placement cell of this college has been able to attract the most of the core chemical companies and if you are thinking of taking admission to this college for the same branch, you can surely make a go for it.
