There isn't much that can be said about the core companies for civil engineering at Pimpri Chinawad College of Engineering, Pune. The college, however, has some of the best companies coming in, ranging from Mahindra, Audi and Bajaj to generic Information Technology companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Capgemini and Accenture coming to the campus. The college also boasts of the Indian Navy visiting their campus for recruitment, which is a very big opportunity. If not a core company, you'll definitely get an IT job as long as you're eligible for placements. The packages offered to new recruits are pretty lucrative too, with the average starting salary ranging from 4-6 Lacs per annum. In Bangalore, you would be really lucky to land a 5 Lacs per annum job in an average engineering college. Pune has witnessed a recent spurt in industrial growth and therefore, it would be great to get a college as good as PCCOE, for this college is renowned for its placement record. Do let us know if there's anything else we can help you with. All the best!

If you are expecting high quality placements at Pimpri Chinawad College of Engineering, Pune for civil branch then you are in for a great amount of disappointment. This is because particularly in civil department there are negligible numbers of core companies visiting the college during the placement season. With the scenario as such you can expect an average placement of 3.5 to 4 LPA in civil department and the total batch placement percentage to be just 70%, with the majority number of students taking UP IT jobs. So if you are considering Pimpri Chinawad College of Engineering, Pune as an option for you to take up civil engineering at you should keep this college as your last option to resort at. And if you do get an admission here and want to remain in the core field of your department then either you have to go for a Master’s program from a reputable college or you have to be on your own for your placement among the off campus opportunities.
