Greetings from Shiksha!! The placements at Vidyalankar Institute of Computer Science Engineering is really good. The placement ratio is almost 85% placement. The average package is around Rs 3 to Rs 4 lakhs per annum. Since this branch is among the evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with the good amount of packages. many companies like Infosys, TCS, L&T Group, Tech Mahindra etc takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of VIT. So it is really good to do computer science engineering from good Institutes for better packages. The campus of VIT is good. So thus the placement ratio of VIT is almost 85 % and in future, it will be like this only for computer engineering and other top engineering fields. And Since the Computer Engineer is very good Branch of Engineering , so there will more Placements in future for this Engineers in Big Multinational IT companies and some opportunities in government sector with better packages.

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology or VIT-Pune is a below average college which offered an average placement package of 3.5 Lacs in computer science engineering branch for the year 2017. Also, the highest placement package offered for the same branch is around 7.8 Lacs which is really poor for a college having the strategic advantage of being located at Pune which allows other Pune colleges to attract a large number of local companies. Some of the companies that showed up during the placement season of the college were: Barclays Technology, IBM, Infosys, oracle, Wipro, Accenture, HDFC Bank, HSBC, TCS, l&T INFOTECH Works Applications, CMC Limited, HCL Technologies, India Bulls, Syntel Atos Origin, SBI LIFE INSURANCE, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, Hexaware, GODREJ Pvt. Ltd, Huawei, IDBI Bank, Persistent Ltd, ICICI Prudential, Indian Army, Naukri.com, Igate, Reliance Infocomm, ICICI Securities. I would never recommend you to join this college considering the poor placement report of the college for the year 2017 of computer science branch. Good luck!

The placement opportunities are very good. We have a large amount of companies visiting our campus. Infosys has partnership with Vidyalankar Around 100+ students get the job in Infosys per year. Work application also visits Vidyalankar with a packages of 35 lakhs per year Multinational companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Works Application, Mphasis, Accenture, Cognizent, Amazon etc. and some start-ups like Purplle.com, Nyka.com, Vodafone, Essar, etc. reach out to our college every year and selects more than 50 percent people. Packages range from 3.5-35 lakhs. The placement is one of the best in VIT. Many companies come for the placement in the 7th sem of final year. For extc the companies were L & T, TCS, Capegemini, Works application, I-GATE, Mu-Sigma, Tikona and many more. The eligibility criteria for these companies was min CGPA of 6.75(60%). The packages varied from 15k per month to much higher as some international companies provided really high package.
