Greetings from Shiksha. PEC University is among the best engineering institutes in India. The placement ratio of Computer Science Engineering at PEC University is good. The average package is around 9 to 10 lakhs per Annum. Some of the students are getting better packages of around 20 lakhs per annum from some of the best companies like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Total of 100 companies came for placement and 55 students of CSE branch got placed with the decent salary in 2017. 43 students got placed in 2015 and 47 students placed in 2016 and 29 jobs are from abroad companies and colleges. Since, computer science engineering is the best course in terms of placements, research and further studies. Computer science engineering will also be of high demand in the future. Placement opportunities will also increase in the future for computer science engineering aspirants. And, the packages offered in Computer Science Engineering from reputed institutes are the highest among the all engineering branches. In IITs, the highest packages offered to CS Engineers is around 1 crore.

PEC University is one of the good colleges in Chandigarh. The chances of getting top placements in PEC, Chandigarh is increasing year by year. The computer science department and information technology department are the ones which are also so good. The average package is known to be of 9 LPA. 6 students have got a job offer of Rs 27 LPA. The package has been offered by Amazon, which is known to be one of the largest e-commerce companies. Apart from that, more than 20 students were offered pre-placement offers from companies during the semester training time. Here are the salary details: 10 LPA and above: - 43 Offers Between 7 - 10 LPA: - 94 Offers Between 5 - 7 LPA: - 113 offers Below 5 LPA:- 144 offers In 2015-16 Batch: Total B.Tech placement percentage is 98.85% and in M.Tech placement record is 41.02 %. Total 100 companies came for placement and 55 student of CSE branch get placed with the decent salary in 2017, 43 Student placed in 2015 and 47 student placed in 2016 and 29 jobs are from abroad companies and colleges.

Earlier PEC University of Technology was affiliated to prestigious Punjab University but later it was upgraded to state university. It’s a best engineering college under JAC Chandigarh. Many students leave NITs to get admission there. So, you can easily estimate the reputation of the university. Placement is very good there for Computer science engineering. Highest package was 27 lakhs per annum which was offered by Amazon to 3 CSE Students and 3 information technology Students. And, average package was around 9 lakhs per annum. Lowest package offered was 4 lakhs per annum. A total of 51 eligible students of computer science engineering bagged 55 offers. Total of 43 students got internship placement percentage is 100 percent for CSE graduates. In the year 2015 Placement was good but later it increased. Previously, highest package was 16 lakhs per annum and average package was 5-7 lakhs per annum. Hope it helped. Thanks.
