The mechanical engineering though a widely taught stream having a wide scope in the present scenario reflects a very nice placement statistics in the cities especially Bangalore. The most powerful aspect of the institution is its connectivity with the corporate India headquarters situated in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Though, BIT-Bangalore is good for its placement because of its mobile availability. The mechanical average is around 6 to 7 Lacs and 12 to 13 Lacs be the highest. Though, the college still lacks behind in providing extra ordinary and eyecatching results and lag behind being the most vibrant campus since many years but, when placements come, it has an edge and places almost all of the students getting a mass percentage. In all, if you live nearby the institute and want a good placement then definitely go for it. Also, one can have its preference after the government colleges as the college is working very hard currently to meet the industry requirements. Hope it helped.
