CISCO certifications are well recognized certifications which can help candidates to have long term well paid networking career. CISCO offers five levels of network certification: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert and Architect, the highest level of accreditation within the Cisco Career Certification program. CCENT and the CCT certifications are entry level certifications and serve as starting points for individuals interested in starting a career as a networking professional. CCNA is a Cisco Certified Network Associate awarded by Cisco. Obtaining a CCNA certification involves enrolling in a CCNA course and undergoing CCNA training, which will certify a candidates knowledge on resolving institutional networking issues such as smarter troubleshooting, enhancing customer service and improving internal communication using Ciscos proven techniques. Generally, a CCNA certified professional could seek employment as a network administrator. If you want a job in the networking field, having a CCNA is a great start. The certificate alone won't get you a job, but it might at least get you an interview. It will then be your job to sell yourself to prove to the employer that you know and understand the material. Anyone can read a book or watch some videos online to study for a test/exam, but you need to show that you are proficient in the subject, meaning that you can solve real-world problems and not just answer test questions. Make sure you really study and practice the material. The CCNA is really just to get you to the interview and then you sell yourself to get the job.
