Apply for NDA exam, which is conducted twice a year. Get through exam, SSB interview, PABT, Medical, and merit, then you will get a call letter for NDA. Spend three years, as air Force cadet and then spend another 1 and half year at AFA, you are ready to go now. All the best.

Option available to join the flying branch in the Indian Air Force other than NDA is by appearing for CDS examination conducted by UPSC after the graduation degree. Graduates with NCC (Air) C certificate are eligible for direct SSB to join the flying branch in Indian Air Force. Candidates who clear NDA or CDS after basic flying training at AFA depending on their performance in training are given Fighter or Transport or Helicopter flying sub-branch.
