For a web designer, the eligibility criteria is 10th pass or 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. Some of the institutes do not offer any age limit for diploma. Basic knowledge of computer and internet is beneficial for web designing. 1-To become a web designer, you need to learn about the web and various associated programming languages like HTML, ASP and PHP. 2-To know how to operate that software which is compulsory for web designing. 3-The main thing is to create ideas before designing a website. Plan for the replacement of things like slider and search bar and other stuff which is on a website and the alignment of images and gaps between objects. 4-Don't make the look of a website to congested make it simple and easy to understand by visitor. 5-You must create a portfolio of updated and trending web designs. 6-Take the reference from other website and gain experience. 7-Evaluate your own work and get the feedback. 8-The last and important thing is to elaborate on the website which you design and how to sell them.The salary of a web designer depends upon their work and skills. The average salary for a web designer is Rs. 233,500 (approximately).

Usually, if you visit websites like Naukri. Com and Monster. Com, you shall come across surplus job openings for web designer designation ranging from a salary package approximately between INR. 2 lac pa- INR. 8lac pa, but eligibility criteria for most of the openings is often B.Tech or BCA in computer Science or any relevant engineering of B.Tech with certification of the related technologies. But, it is not only that your eligibility and qualification that can fetch you a handsomely paid job, requirements include experience (which you as a fresher shall obviously not have) and your skill and grip onto the technologies. Demand for Web designer positions have tremendously increased in past few years and is expected to go a long way with rapidly new technologies taking up the platform like AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, NPM etc. Also, the UI and graphic design industry is collaborating to seek both kind of skills in a single individual that includes your Photoshop, Ilustrator, Core Draw, Logo designing, email template, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, Query, UX and AngularJS. Now, taking up training and coaching of these technologies is not at all tough rather interesting and you may go for stream of computer Science or Information Technology under B.Tech. Even if you do not feel comfortable with Computer Science and IT being your streams you can anyhow opt for Electronics or mechanical and take up an additional coaching as a course from a certified institute and you shall be equally eligible to apply for the job.
