Cracking MHCET in three months is not a very tough task if one has prepared for JEE. Although the preparation of JEE Mains and MHCET is different because MHCET is of 200 marks where is JEE paper is of 360 marks. Also, the quality and the way of asking the questions is different in JEE and MHCET. An important part one should keep in mind should be that MHCET students need speed and accuracy while solving the question paper as it is found very lengthy and time-consuming, so one should learn how to pick up easy questions first. Secondly, go through all the previous year's questions at least from 2010 onward so that one is aware of the paper pattern of and the syllabus of MHCET because it may include some topics which are not included in JEE Mains. Hence don't waste studying those topics. It needs hard work of at least 6 to 7 hours but apart from the syllabus, try to focus as much as you can to increase your speed and accuracy. Give some mock tests, have an analysis of your situation and try to handle the pressure and panic one may have at the time of paper. The books recommended for JEE Advance are recommended for MHCET as well so be prepared and confident with your preparations. Thank you!

The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The level of this exam is not as tough as JEE Mains exam. Therefore, one needs more helpful tips to crack MHCET exam in three months: 1. Check out previous years question papers and start with understanding the type of questions which are asked frequently every year. 2. Download the syllabus and study it carefully. To crack MHCET in three months, you should have a complete knowledge of these numbers that are coming in the MHCET exam. 3. Take a number of online tests to assess the speed at which you can solve problems or give priority to time over all the other allied factors. 4. For PCM specific areas, concentrate and focus on a few key areas of Physics and Chemistry and Maths which are going to maximize your returns and go for the rest of topics only if you have some time left after you have completed all these topics. Some of the topics are as follows: Physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics and electromagnetism. Chemistry: Try and go for a ride with NCERT for inorganic chemistry. Getting the basics right for iconic equilibrium, chemical equilibrium and gas laws might come in handy for physical chemistry. If you're comfortable with organic chemistry, go for a quick revision, else skip it. Mathematics: You are likely to get almost 50% of the paper from integral calculus, differential calculus, coordinate geometry and complex number and make sure you know their basics very well. 5. You should also have the complete knowledge of the exam pattern. I would suggest you to attempt and practice as many questions possible. Going subject-wise, chemistry part of MHCET is almost theoretical and direct. So, be thorough with the basics and facts of inorganic and organic. It is easy to score. Physics has mostly conceptual questions or simple numericals. Practice such questions from MHCET book or similar book with past year questions of Mains and other state board exams. For Maths, you will need speed as well as accuracy, it only comes from practice, but the level of questions isn't very difficult. Attempt the previous year questions for practice. Hope it helps.

Within 3 months only haphazard preparedness can happen, you need atleast 10-months for it. Preparing for MHT CET is easy if you create a study planner. It helps in dividing your time wisely for preparation, revision and practice. Other than this, you should refer less number of study material (preferably 1) to study for this exam, as studying from too many books may lead to confusion. Try solving as many as problems you can, accurately and quickly. After solving, don't forget to check the answers! Otherwise, all your efforts are wasted. If you are making mistakes, then congratulations, you are actually learning and getting better. 5. Note down the questions, that you didn't know how to solve/went wrong. Go back to those questions, and attempt them again. If you still encounter problems with it, then see the solution. NEVER EVER see the solution to the problem first. Directly seeing solutions never helps. 6. See if you learned anything new. If you stumble over a point/formula/trick then add it in your extra points section. Believe me, this trick actually got me 10 extra marks in the actual exam. 7. Revise, revise and revise! Completing the textbook just once won't help you at all. You need to revise.A lot. Aim for revising all the topics at least for 8-10 times.Don't worry, after 5 revisions, the revisions become super quick. And don't just revise the theory, reattempt problems. You might even end up discovering smarter and quicker solutions to problems. 8. Join a reputed test series. This one is important. About 10 simulations of the exam, spaced out evenly should be good so that you discover exam management tricks, and also learn to cope up with the time pressure. Vidyasagar is a great test series that provides you a test series roughly a month and a half before CET. It also provides you with the solutions to all the problems, giving you a lot of scope for improvement. Solve MHT CET mock tests, previous year question papers and sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern. This helps you know your preparation level - whether you are well prepared to face the final exam. There are many online tests series for MHT CET on the app store. You can download one of those apps and supplement your preparation.
