To get into IIT you need to first clear IIT -Mains, students clearing Mains are eligible for IIT-Advanced. Those who clear Advanced exam finally get into IITs. Its mandatory to clear Mains and Advanced to get into IITs. After 10th, you can start preparing for IITs by self or enroll into a good coaching institute.
