The courses offered by NIFT are four years Bachelors degree and two years Masters degree. For Bachelors you need to be 12th pass and for Masters you need to be a graduate. These days even reputed universities have started offering degrees in fashion designing. Many of these universities offer on field experience to students by making them working with different companies as on job training project. Many a times interaction sessions with who's who of the fashion industry are organized. Some of them hold graduating fashion shows for students, thus giving students a real time exposure to what it is to work on and off the ramp.
