If you want to become an Indian army officer, then join NDA or try CDS exam. Both exams are conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria of both exam are:- For NDA: The candidate must be an Indian citizen. The candidate must be an unmarried male. The candidate must be passed/appeared in class 12th with a government recognised university/school. The candidate must be medically fit. He must be in between 16.5-19 years. For CDS Candidate should be completed graduation with subject Maths and Physics. Candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligible. Age Limit For IMA 19 to 24 For OTA 19 to 25 For NA 19 to 22 For AFA 19 to 23 If you are an engineering graduate you can directly appear for SSB interview for short service commission SSC officers. You don't want to write CDS or NDA exams. All the best.

For joining Indian Army, you have many ways. After class 12th, you can apply for NDA TES entries. After graduation, you can apply for CDSE, NCC, UES, TGC, ACC, SCO or PCSl. In all above case you have to clear SSB interview to get selected. Also, eligibility for all entries is different. Check it with official website. And, for knowing about SSB interview refer
