Learning a skill does not require a compulsory background. The most interesting thing about learning how to code and software development is that anybody can do it despite their subjects. If you are willing to learn and determined then it will be easier to learn C+ and Software development. You should start with a basic programming language i.e. C or Java before learning C+. It would help you get a basic idea of a programming language and build logics. Switching to another language would be quite easy if you have learnt a programming language. There would be just the difference of syntax and use of certain methods. Begin your journey of learning, how to code and try to get a certificate from a reputed organization. All the best.
