Difference between studying in a college located in a remote location with a big city is as follows: (I) Advantages (a) No external disturbances to the academic environment. (b) No wastage of time. (c) Better support for teaching faculty. (d) More opportunities for personality development as students do not waste time and can use .university resources and infrastructure. (e) Better friendship opportunities and development of good network. (II) Disadvantages: (a) Difficulties and challenges in travel. (b) Some time remote colleges face challenges of attracting good faculty and students. (c) Remote colleges may miss out on pooled campus placement which happens in major cities. (d) Students of remote colleges miss on opportunities for seeking coaching and external support for higher studies. (e) Remote colleges students have to travel to big cities for competitive exam for jobs and higher studies. (f) Lesser opportunities for entertainment and stress bursting.
