The very first thing comes on mind after reading this question in, Is it possible? And the answer is, yes, it's possible to learn cinematography without attending film school. Learning Cinematography by own : Figure out ways to get the shots you want, especially in a way that's better than hand-held. A mobile phone's video is a start, but you probably want to practice with a tripod at some point (can be very cheap), and then see what other tricks you can come up with such as wheeled chairs, swinging contraptions, in-vehicle shots. Use what lights you have to "paint with light". Honestly, cinematographers range between artists who do just crafting shadows and colors and emotion into their imagery. You can also take help from various YouTube tutorials for the same too. All the best.
