For this early habits should be developed. You can't start one month before exam. It would all be in vain. Generally develop a habit of reading newspapers as early as possible. It will be good if you read newspapers like The Hindu or The Indian Express as these cover sensible news unlike Times of India and it will also help you in improving your English. Generally read the newspaper thoroughly and try to develop your own opinion on the issues. It will be helpful for WATs for IIMs. You can use websites which have quizzes on current affairs. But don't waste too much time on it. Focus on your main preparation properly. So in short, read newspapers daily for half or one hour and develop your own opinions on issues and try to discuss/debate about the same with your friends or classmates.
