Chemical Engineering is good at Manipal, Jaipur. Proper infrastructure and proper environment are available for that purpose. Manipal, Jaipur is in its initial stage and in its growing stage. So there's a bit of a chance that there might be less campus placement in the initial stages. But you are going to learn a lot.

It was established in 1969 and is one of the oldest Engineering branches in Manipal. It has got its reputation (we have our own building). I can say that faculty is not 100% best, not more than 4 to 5 professors are good with their subjects. Professors are really good and are ready to help you. Course structure is pretty good and equivalent to BITS ( HOD used to be from BITS). Excellent Chemical Engineering laboratories - Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer and a State of the art Process Control lab. Computer lab equipped with all the engineering software - CAD, Aspen, Matlab. Practice School Policy. Students can do their final year projects outside the institution like - CSIR labs, Honeywell etc., Coming to the important section placements - If your goal is to get a job in service/IT industry then it's not a big deal. MIT doesn't have any sustainable relations with process industries so it's a challenge to find core chemical industries in the placement list. To my knowledge, these are the companies I've seen during my 4 years of at Manipal : - Jindal steels. - Grasim textiles. - Reliance ( 8 and above cgpa, recruited 5 chemical engineering students from 2012 batch ) - Mangalore refinery. The total fees for the course is about 14 lakhs .
