There has been almost 100% in 2007, 2008 and 2009 but it is about 75 to 80% from then. Campus is big, Lab are good, faculty is brilliant so overall education is all a good student want. High rated companies visit the campus. Average placement might not be great but good ones can get package upto 6-8 lakhs specially in IT and CS sectors. M.Tech placements are one of the best in LPU. There are many students who get placed in good corporates and many big tech Giants. Moreover, I suggest you to complete B.Tech first as in engineering, scenario is changing, some people go for management after B.Tech, some people go for corporates, Some give GATE and get into PSUs or IITs. So, according to me, its too early to decide. Moreover, You can change your stream any time within LPU. Take a wise decision. And the average package from LPU is 7 Lacs for M.Tech.
