It's a good branch and one of the oldest in DTU. If you have an interest in its subjects, and won't mind remembering lots of stuff, go for it. You will be upgraded to another branch according to your choice filling, only if there is any vacancy after first year, otherwise, the branch will remain same.No matter what stage you're at in your education or career, TuteeHUB will help you reach the next level that you're aiming for. DTU mechanical engineering is among top 10 institutes in India by various rating agencies rankings. It is relatively difficult to change or upgrade branch in 2nd year in DTU or in any engineering college.
