B.Tech in CS is pretty much average. Fee: For 2012-16 batch - Approx 2.0 Lacs per annum+1 lakh (hostel charges). When opting for CS at Symbiosis Institute of Technology the only plus point will be the 'Symbi Edge'. Life is pretty much laid back and enjoyable for an average student. Salary Package: Though the average package is around 4 LPA (which is decent, if not good). It's hardly an 8 year old private institute. You won't get even this in of the most private colleges. Remember, even big private institutes like VIT call LPA a dream package. The minimum package is around 3.2 LPA and the maximum package for 2015-16 was around 24 LPA. So, if you can stand out of the crowd, you can easily score a nice package. Opportunities are tremendous.
