How is the faculty and infrastructure of Lovely Professional University for B.Arch?

1) One of the oldest universities in the country and top Government College in the state.2) It has got a better ranking overall for the entire University (but again the ranking of engineering college alone is not that good) 3) Limited students per class, there are only 30 seats in each department and 60 in few. 4) Library: Every department in the University has got their own department library which comprises all the essential course materials and access to various books and journals, apart from that we have got Central Engineering library where there are multiple copies of books which allows you to draw books, and apart from that we have got the central library in South campus which is one of it's kind which is well known for the vast volumes it has got. 5 ) The overall area of the campus is around 600 acres, engineering college had an area if about 110 acres including hostels. 6 ) Engineering College has got one of the biggest grounds in the city, we also have a basketball court and gym. Where you can access all the equipment without paying any extra money. 7 ) NCC and NSS : students here as got the provision to be in one of them, the centers of both of them are within the University. 8) Internet connectivity: University has got one of the best internet connectivity all the students are allowed to access the Wi-Fi. 9) Alumni : The University has got the strongest Alumni base, most of the Alumni of the University are in great positions, and you see their appearance most often you even get chance to interact with them if you are fortunate enough most of the Alumni were know holding positions has chief directors in many companies here and abroad.

The faculty is good, not remarkable, but very corporate. In LPU, the curriculum has more contribution in shaping yourself than the teachers. Although, when academics are considered, everything will be taught but on the engineers level where you have to carry your skills upto higher level of expertise. When infrastructure is considered, LPU is remarkable. The infrastructure is modern though not Lavish.

LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest and the best in the world. A campus of more than 400 acres, a nine-floor central library and every college in our university has a separate library. For example, civil block has a civil library in their block. We have a great speed Wi-Fi facility in the hostels and our campus also. We have a university hospital with nine doctors and a team in our campus with five ambulances and the hospital is 24 hours open. We lifted the AIU north trophy, the special scholarship is given if you belong to sports background. The best sports equipment are provided. LPU is making one of the best indoor sports complexes. The construction is on the way, all classrooms have ACs and projectors. We have iMac labs, the best mechanical and civil, biotechnology and agriculture labs. The hostels are good and clean. No electricity problem is there in the college. Faculty: It follows the curriculum which is followed by IIT and MIT. The aptitudes classes, soft skill classes and English classes are conducted. The students have to appear for three tests, out of which two are counted and one mid-term and one end-term at the end of the semester. The passing percentage is 40. Other: Division of student affairs makes them learn other good activity such as NSS and NCC. SEEC, which is for students’ entertainment and event. The management cell helps students to conduct events like any film promotion and modelling. We visit offices of renowned architects and guest lecturer. We get to know about the real world and the environment is good.

Hello! Lovely Professional University is an okay university for B.Arch. If you are not able to get admission in Indian Institute Of Technology (Kharagpur And Roorkee campus), IP University (Guru Gobind Indraprastha University Delhi), then you may take admission in LPU. Because my opinion says that the above-mentioned colleges are having the good brand value then LPU. However, the infrastructure of LPU is good. The campus is diversified by many students from different regions of India. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled to access all the study material for the students. I am not much sure about the placement in the architecture field. It all depends on what other options you have. If you are able to get a good college than LPU then grab the seat, else it is fine.
