See, when you are choosing finance college for admission, then you should find whether the institute is offering career oriented finance courses or not, MITSOB is very reputed institute in India, Degrees from MITSob is valuable every where. Go for it.

Although MIT-SOB is not the best college for PGDM, but it is worth a choice to go for. It provides placements with reputed companies, conducts value added programs like financial modeling based on excel programme, which are beneficial for core finance and students interested in market research. It provides global exposure with an International study tour for every batch. Still, I would suggest you to wait for other good options which you have.
