It entirely depends upon which university/college you choose to pursue your B.Tech CSE from. Universities like Chitkara, Chandigarh University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, LPU are some of the options where universities put their soul in to hit the max record of excellent placements and there are some other universities like Punjabi university, Thapar etc. Which are at a declining rate to some extent. With every business and organisation going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand of Computer Science Engineers and programmers. The demand is so high that IT companies recruit engineers not only from the Computer Science and IT branch but also from other branches like Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical.

The placement is depend on student and college, if college placements is good then you got better environment for CSE and if you are have a good knowledge about CSE, then you will get better packages.
