You need atleast 250/360 to get an IIT provided that you score good in Advance and your Board class12 % is 90 above. **For instance you scored 90% above in boards and scored 200-230atleast in JEE-MAINS then you can get DTU and NSIT which are totally amazing colleges. Focus on mains as the score of JEE MAINS is really important in many colleges and NIT'S. Getting 95-96% in boards won't fetch you a good college unless you score good in MAINS. Also BITSAT exam is really important as BITS is one of the most prestigious and reputed colleges for Engineering in India. All the best mate!!
