Every competitive exams needs the concepts to be rigid. If you do not have some high class knowledge, then it will do, but if your basics are not clear, then it will be a trouble for you. Being a science student, you have chosen for JEE Mains, it means that you aspire to become an engineer. Being passionate, you must have some basic knowledge. There is still time, you can devote more time to clear your concepts. You can practice more and enjoy while you prepare. I think you will gain interest in the subjects. Best of luck.
