The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a program designed to meet the needs of busy, working professionals who wish to pursue an EMBA degree without interrupting their careers. The EMBA courses are of different kinds, depending on the necessity of the candidates. The courses of EMBA may be of 12 to 24 months, depending on the structure of the course. The course is designed in such a way, that a candidate can study a very niche management practices that are relevant for him and his experience. To enroll for the program, a candidate must write national level entrance test same as for PG degree in management. Good command of people and language is preferred with a relevant work experience in a particular industry. The basic requirement for an E MBA is an Bachelor’s degree that needs to obtained through a valid/recognized university from any stream of your interest. A work experience of minimum 5-8 is required to pursue an EMBA as the skills taught are of advanced levels and not of basics. At times stability is companies is also taken into account for the admission, so you need to keep that in mind and prepare accordingly. GMAT preparation- Not all programs will require the GMAT, but if you are considering a top tier school GMAT scores will be considered. To prepare you can enroll in a preparatory class before the GMAT.
