Complete your Diploma first and then apply for lateral entry in the respective college. Students with a Diploma can get direct admission into the 2nd year of engineering. Go to the website of the desired college and see criteria for lateral entry.

Yes, of course, you have to appear for the LEET exam and score according to the college cut-off then you are eligible for lateral entry admission.
