Your preparations for GATE starts from the very the first day of your first year. Make your basics clear in time. Be regular in college or in technical terms , be regular in classroom study. Refer good books like Mc Graw Hills, Pearson, Rajput, Khanna publications or GKP. Try to complete your coaching in last year only, and then take the exam.
