Here are some basic tips for GD. 1. Body Language should be good. 2. The way you sit, the way your hands are it should not be fidgeting, your eye contact should be towards other group members while speaking as well as while listening. 3. Group discussion is among members so panelists will continuously notice you throughout the duration. 4. To start group discussion you should have relevant point and always take initiative so that you are in the eyes of panelists. 5. If you want to argue on a point you have to argue politely and smartly as this is not a debate(roadies thing). 6. Don't be aggressive towards other. 7. Wait for your chances let other speak. 8. You can start by saying "I want to add one point here" and then start. 9. Eye contact is the game in GD. Atleast speak one point or maximum two if you are unaware of that topic. Read lots and lots on current affairs on political, social, economical and general aspects. You can download these two apps INDIABIX and MBASKOOL (a real time discussion happens you have to just write your points it will help you in getting knowledge of topics).
