I have joined a good institute n Hyderabad called IELTSguru where i am very satisfied with their teaching and support for IELTS and GRE. If you stay in hyderabad go and attend the course there its good. i got 6.5 bands with their help. The IELTS score is valid for 2 years.

Besides joining a coaching institute you may also refer to some of the below mentioned books for self preparation: - Complete Skills for Ielts by Harper Collins. - Cambridge IELTS by Cambridge ESOL. - Barron's IELTS by Lougheed, Lin.
