First of all, I am not sure that is it possible for a humanities student to pursue a course like BCA because BCA has basic eligibility criteria of having maths as a subject in 12th but still some universities allow non maths students. Also, you can try in those. Here, I am giving you the overall idea about BCA and its course. BCA is basically a computer oriented course here. You will be studying about the basic software skills (not that basic). Computer programming, application of computers in industries and the construction of computer .you are supposed to be able to make the use of computer to increase the profit (usually assigned a job of publicising the company, and other data entry jobs). But, BCA students usually pursue MCA to land a good job. Hope I could and this was just an general idea and not the in-depth explanation of the course.

If you have interest in learning programming languages, then BCA will be easy because in BCA every programming language will be covered from starring, so you don't have to worry about having any prior experience in programming languages. The only subject which will be difficult for you in BCA is maths. Mathematics of BCA requires you to be aware of the topics covered in +2's maths. You'll have to work hard in understanding the concepts of maths. Other subjects will be easy.
