But what is imperative is to understand what being a journalist entails. Curiosity, willingness to work hard, storytelling and using "Why chaining" when it comes to news. It is a creative line of work that involves being in line with current affairs and a sense of objectivity and facts. If you feel you love all these aspects, then journalism is an amazing choice. My advise would be to focus on being a good well read journalist before you think of being an TV anchor. All top notch TV news anchor you see today are first journalists. To be a good TV anchor in mass communication, and in addition to knowing current affairs, one needs to be good with spoken communication, scripting and voice modulation. Apart from studies in the related areas, also do theatre, for it teaches one how to use voice.
