The minimum eligibility criteria/industry standard criteria followed by many companies for Maharashtra is aggregate 60% & above. However, there are few companies which consider students with no academic criteria. Every college/university will try to line-up few companies to cater to below 60% or below 55% students. You need to check with your placement officer regarding the same.

It is difficult to get good placement at this score. But, you can try from any small company at initial salary package. If you get a good experience and gain good knowledge and prepare yourself to do any project on your own basis, you can definitely get good job. I give this suggestion at my own experience. I am also an Software engineer. Initially, I didn't get any good job but after getting good experience and knowledge from the company, I now have my own IT company.
