This field is unique. It gives us a stage to perform with chemicals. It is having many subjects including: 1) Organic chemistry 2) Inorganic chemistry 3) Analytical chemistry 4) Physical chemistry If you are interested to play with chemicals, it's the best field. It deals with chemical plant operations and design and is an evergreen branch. Many people consider it as an extension to chemistry that we study in higher secondary, but it focuses more on engineering aspects and less on chemistry. In present scenario, very few college's offer chemical engineering program. Chemical engineers are hired in oil and gas industry, fertilizer, gas processing, specialty chemicals etc. Before taking admission in any institute for graduation, verify its credentials like faculty, alumini, labs, placement, companies visited to campus etc. Job aspects are good for talented chemical engineers and salary increases with experience.
