On the basis of simplicity you should study simpler chapters first so that you may become confident that you have completed some chapters. Most simple chapter is matrics algebra of logic (i.e. Boolean algebra) and if you have small or basic knowledge of integration and differentiation then firstly do differential equations which has topics like linear equations, homogeneous and variable separable are too simple.

You are right. Since, you have opted for BE CSE it will be a little tough for you to clear M1. But everything has a strategy. Start completing those units which are easy like the units you have already studied in school (prepare them well). Second, find out the most weighted topics of the difficult units. Prepare these weighted topics very well (I suggest you to learn from online videos). After doing this, you will eventually feel positive.
