To become a successful programmer, one needs to know about algorithms, data structure and mathematics. In mathematics, you should know the topics like linear algebra, set theories, discrete math, number theory and some calculus. You don't need to be scholar in maths but basic concepts and problem solving skills is must. So start your journey and good luck.

If you want to make a career in programming and IT sector, then you should try to get admission into B.Tech in CS/IT, if you are eligible for this course. If somehow you are not able to get admission into B.Tech then you can also pursue BCA and B.Sc. BCA is a technical course whereas B.Sc. Is general course. I'd recommend to pursue BCA if you are not eligible for B.Tech.

Mathematics is not a problem to learn c+ Java at all don't bother about the mathematics. BCA is a good degree learn all about the languages and programs but keep on try to learn basic formulas in mathematics which major ally helps to you in you're degree. Keep concentrated and its easy subject learn all basic fundamental formulas.

It is not a big problem, if you are weak in mathematics, and you don't have Mathematics in class 12th. You can still get an admission in IT field, which is BCA and B.Sc. (IT). Both courses provides you IT knowledge. In both courses, your main subjects will be programming languages. You need to focus on C, C+, Java, SQL, etc., which will be helping you get a good job with decent salary.
