It’s good that you want to make your career in the IT field. I have a MCA degree too, so if you are just looking for a degree, you can go ahead and do BCA, but if you are want to get a good job in the IT sector, then BCA will not be enough. An organisation needs an experienced candidate. In order to get a good job, you should also opt for certifications like cisco, Microsoft and oracle. If you are interested in networking, opt for CCNA course.

BCA is a three year undergraduate which consists of six semester in which you'll learn about some management, accounting, business communication and some languages like c, c+, Java and sql. Criteria for getting admission in any college in BCA programme is varies upon colleges. Some colleges has 45% and some has 50% and some has 60%.
