You can get many private colleges such as LPU, Amity, Sharda, Noida International University, Chandigarh University, Galgotias University, Sikkim Manipal University, MS Ramaiah, Acharya Engineering College, Saveetha Engineering College, Kalasalingam University or Techno India University based on your marks in B.Tech mechanical, if you have given any other state engineering entrance exam/any other entrance exam like VITEE, SRMJEE or BITSAT see their result if you get a decent rank in any of the exam try taking admission on the basis of these, or you can drop a year to prepare for JEE Mains 2018.

Go for private institutes like Chandigarh university, lovely professional university, Suresh gyan vihar, etc etc because these are some of the top private institutions. Hope for the best.
