B.Ed is not required for lecturer job in colleges. You just need a Post Graduation degree with good academic record to get job in private colleges. If you are looking for Government college lecturer job then you have to clear exams like UGC-NET/SLET. B.Ed is only necessary for getting teaching job in schools. Hence, don't worry if you don't have B.Ed qualification. If you have Post Graduation then you can apply for job in various private colleges directly for interview. You have to clear interview for getting the job. If you have aim of getting a Government University lecturer job then be prepared for exams like UGC NET or SLET.
