If you are willing to get more knowledge about civil engineering you must attempt GATE and IES exams. Also, if want to do Masters you must attempt GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. If you want to work in the public sectors you must go for UPSC, Railways, PWD's, etc.

If you have to gain more knowledge or we can say more expertise in your field and you can study 2 more years, then you should go for M.Tech in civil engineering or if you want to do job then you can work. Gain practical experience and climb the ladder of success in your career. So it totally depends on you. If you want to study more then go for M.Tech civil engineering. If you want to work, then take up a job, etc.

You should begin working now and increase useful presentation, regardless of the possibility that you can get into a decent organisation as an understudy, it would be extraordinary. Compensation ought not to be an issue at the outset, on the off chance that you pick up the appropriate measure of information, you will have a decent pay bundle.

You must start working now and gain practical exposure even if you are able to get into a good company as an intern, it would be great. Salary should not be an issue in the beginning. If you gain the right amount of knowledge, you will definitely have a good salary package.
