BCA is the graduation degree of Bachelor's computer applications, and for that you need to pursue 10+ 2 with minimum of 50% in your PUC. You may get admission via lateral entry for BCA. BCA: Lateral Entry Certain institutes allow lateral entry to candidates in the second year of the programme. For lateral entry, a student must have passed 10+2 and have done a computer course of minimum 6 months duration. Students with a three-year Diploma in IT from State Board of Technical Education are also eligible for lateral entry to BCA programme. Some of the universities which allow lateral entry to the programme are Annamalai University and Lovely Professional University.
