The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is as follows: (a) Candidates must be holding graduation degree I. e. BCA/B.Sc (Hons. )/B.Sc/BIT as per 10+2+3 pattern from a recognised University (b) Candidates must have studied mathematics or statistics or equivalent subject during graduation degree. Candidates with B.Com are not eligible for appearing in NIMCET.

No, you are not eligible because for NIMCET, a candidate must having graduation as their qualification. You have just done Diploma which is not equivalent to a graduation degree. It is better for you to take admission in B.Tech via lateral entry scheme.
