Yes, you are definitely eligible to apply for the National Eligibility test after completing the Masters from distance programme.

If you have done M.Sc and fulfill the percentage criteria, you are eligible for the same.

As per the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria, the candidate who is in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed his post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognised institute are eligible to appear for the exam. The official website of CBSE UGC NET Exam has begun the online application submission from 6th March 2018. So, hurry up and fill the application form. UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is an entrance exam through which candidates are awarded for lectureship and for junior research fellowship. For appearing in UGC NET Exam, candidate should have to complete their post-graduation or should be appearing in final year of their Masters degree. CBSE has announced the notification for conducting UGC NET 2018 Examination. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on 8 July 2018. Registration process will start from 6 March 2018. From now, you have got enough time for preparation, so make sure that you have got good stuff for preparation like books, study notes, previous year papers etc. I hope it helps!
