You can do MBA as well as prepare SSC CGL for government job. If you score good marks in SSC, you can definitely get jobs in government sector. So, be ready for that.

To get a job in government sector, any degree is enough for common posts including civil services. So as a commerce student, you may opt B Com or BBA. Other options are LLB (5 years), BSW, BA, etc.

For applying to government jobs, you should be a graduate. You can appear for many govt. job exams like Banking, Staff Selection, Combined graduate level and UPSC (civil service exams) after the completion of graduation.
