Admissions in MBBS and BDS courses will be given on the basis of national level examination NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER. Central Board of Secondary Education shall organize the NEET examination for selecting students for medical courses. Top medical colleges of India consider the NEET score card for admissions. Eligibility for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery: As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification, with physics, chemistry, biology and ideally sanskrit as main subjects. Process of admission to the course may vary across institutes. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams for selecting and admitting candidates, while some select students on the basis of their score at the 10+2 level alone, compulsorily completed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects. The basic requirement for the eligibility to get the admission to BUMS program is qualifying the 10+2 examination with 50% marks. The candidate must have the physics, chemistry and biology in 12th class. The students who have the language Urdu in 12th class or having proficiency in Urdu language has given the preference in admission.
