The total of 100 questions were to be answered in 170 minutes. As for marks to be scored for getting into an IIM, it does not depend on your marks but on your percentile. You may even scoreless and get a good percentile if difficulty level was high for your slot. CAT is an exam where students score an enviable 100 percentile as well. It is not essential to get a 100%, but then 99 percentile is the score that is the minimum qualifying criteria if you want to get into an IIM. There are many good B-schools in India, if you could not make to be in IIM. The best B-schools are: Shailesh J. Mehta School Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur Lovely Professional University, Punjab Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai SP Jain Institute of Management.
