Than follow your father :) Now coming to the point if you go for B.tech than do it from good college.Don't for RTU specially.because if you do B.tech from any private colleges than there is 80% chance that you will not get placed or placed in BPO .If any software company hires you than your salary will be 10-15 k .After B.tech you have to go for any software course than you will get placed in a good software company. Now coming to BCA Than do BCA with good college.focus only & only on software.After BCA You can go for software job or you can go for MCA .But yes if you will be superior in software than no one stops you .

at this time mca market totally down. my suggestion go btech in IT.after that u will do job otherwise if u wish further study,u have option mtech or mba IT
