I think your rank is not in range of getting in NIT-K. But, I will suggest you to go for counseling and try at least once and see that, you may get some other good college if you come from the reserved category. All the best.

Your rank is quite low to get admission at NIT-K. Try for some other colleges but attend the counselling session. There may be seats available in other colleges.

I am sorry, but NIT-K cut-offs, as far as I know, reach the maximum of 5 digits. I think you should try for some other NIT or search some colleges where you could choose a branch in which you want to pursue your career.
